Many of our employees celebrating their 10th year anniversary along with the company still retain the appointment letter from Tata Airlines Private Limited. It’s true!!! In the year of inception 2004, the company started operations as 80 member customer service team for Tata Teleservices. 10 years later we are 11,000 people operating out of 19 delivery centers with 46 happy clients. Our journey can truly be described as journey of many ‘firsts’.
In 2005,
We were the first Indian BPM player to have a 3 site Disaster recovery strategy and had pioneered the hub-n-spoke delivery center strategy. Next year, we were the first to provide all-India routing that allowed language preference based routing of calls to any center in the country. In the same year, we acquired our first international customer and also became exclusive partner for a leading DTH player.
In 2007,
Was watershed year when we started our platform based multi-vendor third party insurance administration services and opened our first rural center in Ethakota, Andhra Pradesh.
In 2008,
The company was renamed to Tata Business Support Services aka Tata BSS. Since the last 7 years, Tata BSS is amongst the few BPMs that have consistently delivered profitable growth.
In 2013,
We reached 10,000 employees base & we became the first company to manage a 600 million strong customer community and were recognized by Nasscom as one of India’s largest Impact Sourcing players.
As we look towards the future, Tata BSS will strongly focus on providing customer lifecycle management services to clients in chosen verticals with strong focus on analytics. It will also strengthen its position as Affirmative Action powerhouse within the Tata group.
In this voyage we are deeply aware of the support each one of you has extended to us, the responsibility we have as management towards its customers and employees and our commitment to grow and build the business further by creating new service lines.
